Management & Staff
Staff Qualifications: The director and a specific portion of staff need to have completed approved training in early childhood education.
All staff must be classified at one of three levels: Early Childhood Educator III (ECEIII) - approved degree or approved two-year diploma program plus recognized specialization Early Childhood Educator II (ECE II) - approved two-year diploma Child Care Assistant (CCA) - 40 hour course

I am from and grew up in Peguis First Nation. My parents are Dolly & Oliver Flett. My partner is Patrick McKay and together we have 4 children. I am a part of the Daycare Team because:
I believe early year's child health, safety and development is the most important time in our life. I want to be a part of that time for our community children.
Something I would like the community of Peguis to know about me:
I am a big believer in "it takes a community to raise a child."

Member of Peguis First Nation. I have two daughters. I have been working in the office settings for over 10 years & have been employed with the daycare since 2022. I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

My name is Amanda Cameron. My position is Child Care Assistant.
My husband is from Peguis First Nation, we have been together for 26 years. We have 5 beautiful children, 3 young adults & 2 teenagers. I am a part of the Daycare Team because:
I'm good with children. I have been a stay at home mom since I had children until my youngest child stayed all day at school.
Something about me: I like to do arts & crafts in home decor, sewing projects and during the summer, I love to work in my flower garden.

My mother is from Peguis, her name is Jen Cameron. My partner and I have a home in Peguis; his name is Sam Spence Jr. We have one child together who also attends daycare. I enjoy warm weather, where I can be outside, go camping, swimming and fishing!

Currently attending RRC ECE workplace to obtain my ECE. I live in Peguis but I am from Winnipeg. My hobbies are playing video games and watching sports. I have chosen to work at the daycare because of how fun it is working with kids and coworkers. I have been working at the daycare since 2023.

I moved to Peguis in 2006; from Winnipeg. I have one son but grew up learning how to raise babies. I chose the daycare team because it is a busy, welcoming environment where there is something new to learn each day.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan and we have two boys. I live in Peguis but I am from Keeseekoowenin First Nation. I love to go camping, bike riding and golfing. I chose to work at the daycare because I love working with children and I started working at the Peguis Daycare in 2018.
Position: Child Care Provider- Infant Room
From Peguis First Nation, My partner of 5 years is Adrian Stevenson. We have one son together and I am the youngest of 3 other siblings. I enjoy beading, baking, cooking and travelling.

I have lived in Peguis all my life. I have one son and 2 step daughters. My partner is Neal Spence. My parents are Henry Hudson Jr. & Margaret Sutherland (Larry D Sutherland). I enjoy going to ceremonies, learning songs and healing.
Custodian
I have two children and a beautiful partner; also have two sisters and one brother. Vic & Garfield are my parents and we all stay in Peguis. I enjoy working out, gaming and making pizza for my family! This is a good place to work where I can be near my daughter who also attends daycare.
